The Learning Zone is an online training environment that is designed to provide opportunities for flexible, independent learning. You can study at your own pace, access training packages developed by Medical Teams International and other learning materials from peer-reviewed sources. The development of this e-learning site is part of Medical Teams International's commitment to create and provide high quality training and access to learning resources for our staff, volunteers and partners. Our goal is to increase the number of individuals who are appropriately trained to deliver interventions that can save lives and improve the health and well-being of communities afflicted by conflict, disaster or extreme poverty. This can be achieved by developing the skills of health workers living in these settings, with limited or no opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
